Birdfeeders, garden obelisks, garden trugs, storage baskets and log baskets are all possibilities.

Highland Museum of Childhood, Strathpeffer

Come and join Malcolm from Cat’s Back Baskets for a fun day of willow weaving. In this workshop you will create two beautiful creations for your garden, a fat-ball birdfeeder and a garden obelisk (plant support). All the techniques will be demonstrated, and all the materials and tools will be supplied. Suitable for beginners and improvers.

Garden trugs

Weave your own oval garden trug using willow with Malcolm from Cat’s Back Baskets. Come and join Malcolm for a fun day of weaving and leave with a beautiful creation for your home and garden.

I will show you all the techniques I use to make these baskets. All materials and tools supplied. Suitable for beginners and improvers. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.
