Delivery and returns

This document sets out the delivery and returns policy for goods or services purchased through the online store operated by Cat’s Back Baskets.

Delivery

Items in stock will be dispatched as soon as possible and made to order items will be dispatched within 2 to 3 weeks.

The cost of postage and packing depends on the size of the basket.

  • Small parcel: £6.00
  • Medium parcel: £8.00
  • Large parcel: £12.50

Small and medium parcels are dispatched to Royal Mail using Tracked 48. Large parcels will be dispatched to Parcelforce using Express 48. Tracking numbers will be emailed to the customer along with the dispatch notification.

Risk of loss

We cannot be held responsible for any lost packages. However, we will support you and work together in any way we can to help track down any lost parcels.

Import tax or customs fee

Any local charges made by a mail carrier or customs and excise department on arrival of your package into the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the bill you pay to Cat’s Back Baskets.

Order cancellation and refund

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and it must be in the original packaging.

For items purchased through the online shop our standard returns policy entitles you to a full refund of the purchase price, original postage and packaging charges, if you change your mind about a purchase you have made within 7 working days of its delivery. You must contact us immediately by email, and return the goods to us in as-new condition within 30 days. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item to us.

If the item you purchased was faulty or did not work properly, or you think the item was not as described in the item description, please contact us first before requesting a refund as we may be able to resolve your problem to your satisfaction.

Items purchased as a commission are not eligible for refunds unless work on the item has not commenced.

Once your return is received and inspected we’ll contact you to let you know whether your refund will be processed or not, and credit your original method of payment within 10 days.

If you haven’t yet received a refund in cases in which we have told you we have issued one, please check your bank account, Paypal records or card statement to make sure it hasn’t been received and then contact your bank. Some banks or card companies can take up to 10 days to credit your account.
